LET ME NOT PRAY TO BE SHELTERED FROM DANGERS
BUT TO BE FEARLESS IN FACING THEM

LET ME NOT BEG FOR THE STILLING OF MY PAIN BUT FOR THE STRENGTH OF HEART TO CONQUER IT

LET ME NOT CRAVE IN ANXIOUS FEAR TO BE SAVED BUT FOR THE PAITENCE, COURAGE, AND DETERMINATION TO WIN MY FREEDOM

The shrine we worship at, is inside our own hearts. The temple where we kneel down and pray, is the temple of our own soul. The deity we worship and devote our lives to, is the very love itself that we carry inside us, for humanity, the care and support, for every man, woman, child and creature on our planet. This is the love that knows that we are all in this together, and we are all part of each other.

If we can see and treat every man as we would our own father or brother, every woman as we would our own mother or sister, and every boy and girl as we would our own precious child, we will come to the self realisation, embodiement, expression and high vision of those very deities that we so much value, respect and hold reverence for. Be the diety that you worship ! You may be the one you have been waiting for !

LOVE by Kahlil Gibran (Lebanese Poet 1883-1931)

When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.

For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.

Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.

All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.

But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.

When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, "I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Those of us who have lived through a lot of lifes challenges, can gain great transformation of our experiences and pain.
This brings us deep wisdom and an expansive understanding of the human psyche, that no one can learn from a book.
These experiences can often be changed into being our greatest gifts, where we can serve humanity more with a depth of compassion that is immeasurable.
The work we do now, and thus our service and change to the world, is carried through the generations to come and is limitless, timeless and boundless.
Do not underestimate the impact you can have on the entire world by your simple thoughts, words, and actions.
Everything we do and say, contributes to making this world a better place or a worse place, its our choice and we can choose in every moment to change everything for the better.
Act Now ! Speak Now ! Choose Now!
For a better world.
Make a Difference !
(Ger Lyons December 2009)

You carry the power of the universe inside every cell in your body. There are no limitations as to where you can go, or what you can create and achieve in your lifetime. Be who you have come here to be - not who you have been told you should be!

There are no problems, only challenges. Each mountain we climb we see a bigger picture, a greater truth, a deeper wisdom, a higher consciousness. Every challenge we encounter is a pilgrimage and brings us closer to God.

When we surrender to the unknown, we engage the mystery of infinite possibilities and open up to let "Thy Will Be Done". Higher Will carries an intelligence which will guide us for a higher purpose. Things are not what they seem! Anything is possible.

Do not blindly accept the life you have been given. Explore the power you have to change it. Learn how to go with life, don't swim against the current. Jump on that wave and ride it. Nothing is impossible!
